Pulp Fiction

After spending who-knows-how-many accumulated hours admiring old pulp magazine covers, there are a few themes you tend to come away with:

1. Nazis

2. Ladies getting their clothes torn off

3. Scary animals

4. As many combinations of those things as possible.

So when I attempted this tribute to pulp magazine covers, I did my best to meet those criteria. There are lots of other themes that get swept up in the broad strokes, of course, but generally I don’t think about it too hard when I’m working. It’s more like, “Eh, needs a little more Baby Hitler.”

SCORE: An American hero saving you from a terrifying fate at the very last minute.
